Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about your recovery stay at Maison Rèvive.

About Your Stay

What exactly is Maison Rèvive? +
Maison Rèvive is a luxury post-surgical and medical recovery service located inside Cameo Hotel in Beverly Hills. We provide private suites with around-the-clock nursing care, wellness services, and concierge-level coordination for guests recovering from surgery, medical procedures, or surrogacy. Think of it as a refined hotel stay with expert aftercare woven in.
How is this different from a recovery house or aftercare facility? +
Most recovery facilities are converted residential homes where guests share common areas. At Maison Rèvive, you recover in your own private luxury hotel suite with daily housekeeping, room service, and hotel concierge access. There are no shared living spaces, no other guests on your floor, and no clinical-looking environment. It is hospitality and attentive care, seamlessly woven together.
How long is a typical stay? +
Stay duration depends on your procedure and recovery needs. Minor procedures typically require 3–5 nights, while facelifts, body contouring, or combined procedures may need 5–14 nights. Surrogacy recovery stays can range from 7–14+ nights. We'll help you determine the right duration based on your surgeon's recommendations and your personal comfort.
Can I bring a companion or family member? +
Yes. Your suite can accommodate a companion, and they're welcome to stay with you throughout your recovery. We also offer family communication services through our Recovery Concierge, keeping loved ones updated on your progress if desired.

Nursing & Medical Care

What kind of nurses provide care? +
Our nursing team consists of licensed registered nurses (RNs) and licensed vocational nurses (LVNs) with extensive experience in post-surgical recovery, wound care, and patient monitoring. All nurses are vetted, credentialed, and trained in our specific care protocols.
Will my surgeon be involved in my care? +
Yes. We coordinate directly with your surgeon's office throughout your stay. Your nurse follows your surgeon's post-operative protocols, and we provide regular progress updates to your surgical team. If any concerns arise, we communicate immediately with your physician.
What if there's a medical emergency? +
Your nurse is trained to recognize and respond to post-surgical concerns. In the unlikely event of a medical emergency, we activate emergency protocols immediately — including contacting your surgeon, calling 911 if needed, and coordinating transport to the nearest hospital (Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is minutes away). Your safety is our absolute priority.

Privacy & Logistics

How private is the experience? +
Completely private. There is no signage indicating a recovery service. You are a hotel guest in a private suite. Our nursing team arrives discreetly, and there are no shared recovery floors or common areas with other guests. We practice HIPAA-conscious care throughout every interaction. This is ideal for high-profile guests, international visitors, or anyone who values complete discretion.
Can visitors come to see me? +
Yes — visitors are welcome during your stay. Since you're in a hotel suite, visitors can come and go naturally. We simply ask that visits be coordinated around your care schedule and rest needs. Your nurse can help manage visit timing to ensure your recovery stays on track.
What about meals and dietary needs? +
We provide chef-prepared, anti-inflammatory, healing-focused meals designed to support your recovery. Meals are available 24/7 and can be customized for dietary restrictions, allergies, or preferences. Our menu focuses on high-protein, nutrient-dense options that are gentle on digestion and promote healing. You also have full access to the hotel's room service.
Do you provide transportation? +
Yes. We arrange private transportation for airport transfers, surgeon appointments, and any other needs during your stay. The level of transportation included depends on your chosen tier (Standard, Enhanced, or Signature). Additional trips can always be arranged.

Booking & Payment

How far in advance should I book? +
We recommend booking as soon as your surgery date is confirmed — ideally 2–4 weeks in advance. This gives us time to coordinate with your surgeon, prepare your care plan, and secure your preferred suite. However, we understand that some recovery needs arise quickly, and we do our best to accommodate short-notice bookings.
Does insurance cover the stay? +
Maison Rèvive is a privately funded service. While we do not bill insurance directly, we can provide documentation that you may submit to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement of nursing and medical care components. We recommend checking with your insurance provider before booking.
What is your cancellation policy? +
We understand that surgery dates can shift. Cancellations made 7+ days before your arrival date receive a full refund of any deposit. Cancellations within 7 days are subject to a partial deposit retention. We work with each guest individually and always try to accommodate changes whenever possible.
